What is your personal game of the year for 2025 (Apart from Claire Obscur: Expedition 33). The game doesn't need to have been released in 2025, just that you played/completed it this year.

Other than its improved graphics, Metroid Prime 4 could have been a GameCube game. The biomes are still broken up into small rooms with lengthy door-opening animations (to hide loading?) and the "psychic" abilities are superficial reskins of classic Metroid abilities.

It's been almost 20 years since Valve last released an original single-player IP in Portal. Why did Valve just stop making single-player games? They could have been for PC gaming what Nintendo was for console gaming.
